Who we are
Global Initiative for Rural Development (GIRD) works to provide maternity clinics for pregnant women, clean drinking water, toilet systems, basic hygiene, and infrastructural development for Sub-Sahara Africa. GIRD Comprises many volunteers in the United States and Nigeria who are working together to assist the rural communities of Africa.

Basic Needs

Build child birth centers, training centers for midwifery, health and maternity clinics, prevent starvation, maternal and child mortality, prevent diseases and malnutrition. Increasing access to affordable housing and nutritious food, and reducing the number of people living in extreme poverty.
